The Church of Christ China Cheung Chau Church
Hong Kong Council of The Church of Christ , was reorganized in 1952 from the Church of Christ in Guangdong Association Sixth District Council in 1980 ,declared " Three-Self Church" , is the main activity in Hong Kong.And it is an independent Christian church . District will arrange church except for religious activities , there opened evening schools, secondary schools, primary schools and kindergartens and other institutions. District Council is one of Hong Kong's major school sponsoring bodies , since the early 1960s, began to actively participate in education , I believe that God entrusted to nurture the next generation of our mission , but also to respond to the actual needs of the community . Since 1999 , in response to community needs , the district will set up a " Department of Social Services welfare fund" to support financial difficulties or unemployment Catholics .
To celebrate the Chinese Christian Church was founded about 99 years, Cheung Chau Church of Christ in China to buy the lid of a leaf as a gift to sent to the Brethren at the 99 anniversary .
