Tung Wah Group of Hospitals
Tung Wah Group of Hospitals （TWGHs） originated in the 1870s, is the oldest and largest in our history of charity. TWGHs is committed to providing a wide range of services for the public, including medical services, education services and community services. Until 2006, TWGHs has a total of 194 service centers in Hong Kong, which to provide quality services to the whole community.Tung Wah Group of Hospitals is a long history of serving diverse charitable organizations. Donghua provides free medication for countless such as lower class citizens, welfare justice school, coffins and other relief. In 1870 founded the Tung Wah Hospital (TWGH predecessor), was the first to appear on Chinese and Western soil used in the form of modern Chinese medicine hospital treatment of patients attending hospital; thereafter gradually replace Tung Wah Hospital as the Man Mo Temple Procedure and status of Chinese arbitration institution.
History : The Neighbourhood Support Child Care Service (NSCCP) (pilot project), has commenced since March 2009 with Government subvention. In response to the community needs, NSCCP has become a formalized service in October 2011, continued to serve the needy children and families in both Yau Tsim Mong District and Kowloon City District. Objective : The service aims to provide needy parents with more flexible day child care service in additional to regular services for children aged under 6 and to foster, at the same time, mutual help and care in the community.
