HKDRC established in 1978 , is committed to promot long-distance running , long distance sector in Hong Kong,which is one of the largest organizations . The spirit of HKDRC is " HKDRC - whole-heartedly promote Hong Kong marathon thirty-six years ." HKDRC was with 35 years of efforts to promote long-distance running , long distance open competitions are organized to improve the technical level of the participants . HKDRC established for the purpose is to promote green living, green low-carbon life .
The Hong Kong marathon will organize a charity race about walking which can enable the community to focus on social deprivation so that we can't forget our responsibility. Therefore, Hong Kong marathon ordered some products which are available at the Race Walking. Running which can lead the backward group to keep up with the rhythm of social. And a slogan is "we ran up the poverty", which was printed on the T-shirt as gift. So it can very able to reflect the purpose of the Race activities which is the Hong Kong marathon need to take care of the society. At this time, Hong Kong marathon organization ordered a series of gifts as towel, advertising umbrellas and water bottles for runners. Hong Kong marathon organization hopes that through this event can make more people to concern about social welfare.
