In the late 1980s, the Group became a pioneer in high-end hotel services in Macau through its investment in the former Mandarin Oriental, Macau and the former Westin Resort, Macau. The Mandarin Oriental, Macau is part of the "One Central" development project and opened in June 2010. The hotel is renowned for its elegance and excellent service, with 213 guest rooms. As for the former Westin Resort, Macau, now known as the Grand Coloane Resort, it offers 208 rooms. This luxury boutique hotel is located on the beautiful Coloane Island coast, overlooking the magnificent scenery of Hac Sa Beach and the South China Sea. In Hong Kong, the Group holds a 70% interest in the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel. The hotel has 658 guest rooms and is adjacent to Hong Kong International Airport and the AsiaWorld-Expo. In recent years, the Group has also entered the hotel industry in Singapore. Its first hotel project in Singapore, the Arthouse Singapore, will be developed into a five-star luxury hotel. It is adjacent to the central business district and major tourist attractions and will provide 142 guest rooms.
